Creamy Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp Salt
2 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Cumin
2 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
2 Tsp Garam Masala
2 1/2 Tsp Curry Powder
1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
2 Tsp Yoghurt
Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Ginger, Minced
1 Garlic clove, Minced
1 Can Dice Tomato
1 1/2 Cup Cooking Cream
Rotti
Jasmine Rice
Method:
Mix seasonings altogether and add into the chicken. Add a drizzle of Olive Oil and yoghurt and mix well. Let chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
In a large pan, drizzle olive oil and butter and let melt. Add in onion, ginger and garlic. Cook for a few minutes then add chicken. Saute the chicken until fully cooked.
Add in tomato tin and cooking cream and let simmer for 10 minutes. You can adjust the seaoning to your liking. Mix them in really well and cover with a lid on low heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
Serve with jasmine rice and freshly made roti and enjoy!
